Return & Exchange Policy

At Brine & Bard Designs, we pour our hearts (and sometimes a lot of resin) into every custom order. Because each item is made-to-order specifically for you, our policy is designed to protect the time and materials that go into your unique treasures.
Cancellations & Refunds

We know that sometimes plans change or typos happen.

  • The 12-Hour Window: If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please email us within 12 hours of purchase. If you cancel within this window, we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
  • After 12 Hours: Once this window has passed, our "Bardic" crafting process has begun. Because materials have been committed to your custom design, we are unable to offer cancellations or refunds after the initial 12 hours.

Custom & Personalized Items

Due to the nature of custom crafting, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once the production process has begun. This includes all items with custom names, initials, or specific color and font selections.
Spelling and Accuracy

We create your items exactly as they are written in the "Special Instructions" box at checkout.

  • Our Mistake: If the item you receive doesn't match the instructions you provided, we will make it right. Contact us immediately, and we will ship a replacement at no cost to you.
  • Customer Typo: If the error was in the instructions provided to us and the 12-hour cancellation window has passed, we cannot offer a refund. However, reach out to us—we may be able to offer a small discount on a "re-do" order!

Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in our "Intentional Design" and quality checks. However, if your item arrives damaged during its journey from Portland to your door, please reach out within 7 days of delivery.

  • Please include a photo of the damage and the packaging.
  • We will review the damage and either offer a replacement or a shop credit.

Color Disclaimer

As noted on our product pages, colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and monitor resolutions. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges based on slight color variations between your screen and the physical product.
